Martha Barron Griffith
ABOUT

Martha Barron Griffith (she/her) – Martha holds a Master’s of Art Conservation (MAC) from Queen’s University, and a Master’s of Interdisciplinary Art, Media and Design (MFA) from OCAD University. Her recent works explore the care and repair of material culture, and how these repairs can privilege, hide and manifest accompanying narratives and non-material values. Martha is trained in film animation, has an interdisciplinary art-practice and teaches at the secondary level. Her work has received support from The National Film Board of Canada, The Canada Council for the Arts, and The Ontario Art Council.
